My name is Areila but my friends call me Jayne or AJ and I am a senior in high school. I took this class because I love the arts whether that's from film, physical, or literary and I wanted to know more about the film industry and the techniques used for some of my favorite movies. So far I have enjoyed the class even though we haven't gone in depth with technical terms; from what the class is described as, I know I will be invested. I hope to gain more insight on camera techniques from the portfolio process if I end up pursuing a job in the film industry. I lean towards the short film option as a final opposed to the magazine and I included a scene from one of my favorite movies Blue Velvet.
