Production #21 Cover

To begin I chose which image to use for my cover. The only photo that matched my vision was this one of one italian ice and a radioball which me and my partner ordered.

To start, I placed my cover image (had difficulty sizing but I figured it out) and resized the format of the photo to landscaped instead of portrait and  had to crop/center and fit it to size.

I then created a border for my masthead to lie against and a strip or banner at the bottom to later have my barcode and maybe a coverline.

Above is my final decision it looked the most cohesive.

I then created the masthead and continued to tweak it until this point, then added what the acronym stood for underneath. (shown above)

I then began to place my coverlines.

I added shapes to back my cover lines and to be consistent with the other issue (my partner’s)

I then added a would be publishing date by my masthead.

Then, I made the barcode by creating many solid lines in a rectangle shape along with numbers.

Lastly, I added one of my enticing coverlines in the banner area!

Finished!
